Welcome to our guests. We are glad you have joined us in worshipping our Lord and Savior. We trust you will draw strength, peace, and hope as together we hear God's Word spoken here today. So that we may serve you better, we ask that you fill out an attendance card located on the back of the pew, including your address and noting that you are a visitor.

MONDAY MORNING PRAYERS  Vicar Lackey will be leading a short service of morning prayer in the sanctuary on Monday mornings at 9am. It will include the Litany as found on Pg. 288 of the LSB. All are welcome to attend!

LWML Christmas Tags and Thank You  The ladies of St. John’s LWML have again made Christmas tags for you to adorn your gifts as well as share the message of the true meaning of Christmas. Each bundle has six tags for you to use and enjoy. They are available on the LWML table along with the Prayer Beads. Donations are always appreciated. The members of LWML would like to also take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to the congregation. Your donations have already enabled LWML to provide a local Homeless Shelter with a generous donation and with your continued support we hope to be able to continue serving our congregation and our community, locally, regionally and abroad.

POINSETTIAS If you would like to purchase a poinsettia plant to help beautify the sanctuary this Christmas, there are envelopes and a box on the library counter. Please make checks out to St. John’s Altar Guild. The price this year is $9.00

PORTALS OF PRAYERS  Please bring in your old Portals of Prayer to the office.  We can give them to the CID LWML who will recycle them to prison ministries.

USHER CAPTAINS AND USHERS We need volunteers to serve as both Usher Captains and Ushers.  An Usher Captain requires a month long commitment, and the recruiting of a team. Ushers need only volunteer as they are available. Please see Marsha at her table in the hall, or let the office know if you would be willing to serve your church in this way.
